Errors that are introduced in the design phase, such as incorrect material selection or unfavorable gas channel design, are usually identified during processing and can only be eliminated at great expense by tooling or design changes. It is important to know which problems are processing and which are design related in gas-assist injection molding. Only then, can issues be accurately addressed.

To assist you in the troubleshooting process, there are seven links found on the left-hand menu below "Troubleshooting" that describe a few common problems. When you click on the different troubleshooting categories, there is a link to a page that lists the problem and symptoms. To navigate between the problem and solution pages, click on the button at the bottom of each of those pages.
